Far Cry New Dawn PS4 takes place in the same world as FC5, but also has a lot of elements that remind me of FC Primal quite a bit. With that being said though, it seems like Ubisoft is experimenting with some things in this game to see how well it is received. For example, there is a base building element with your home base as well as hit points and enemy/weapon levels similar to what the Borderland games do. Do I like these new additions? Yes and No. In some ways, it gives the game a different feel from previous FC games. But also feels a bit not fully developed in the way it should have been for a complete game. Graphically the game is well done, although feels a bit too bright and cheery after only 17 years after the disaster of FC5. The graphics in some respects are better, such as the water reflections and things like that. Some of the previous characters from FC5 survived and are back to assist/annoy you. Depending on how annoyed you were from them in FC5. The storyline doesn’t seem as well developed but is ok as I view this as continuation of the FC.
